Too often, students do not receive the guidance, time, or resources needed to make informed decisions about college, financial aid, and future career pathways. With high school student-to-counselor ratios remaining large, individualized support is often limited, and college application or financial aid assistance may be offered too infrequently or at times that are not convenient for working families.

The name Direct to U reflects both the “U” in university and our commitment to delivering expert guidance and practical resources directly to you. Our goal is to make high-quality college planning accessible, convenient, and affordable for every family.

Over time, Direct to U will provide multiple levels of support, ensuring that families can choose the level of guidance that best fits their needs and budget.

Direct to U FREE is designed for students and families who feel confident they have the support they need to successfully navigate the college journey but want to stay informed and on track.

Simply provide your email address, and you’ll receive our College Connections weekly email at no cost. Each edition provides high level information, aligned with key dates and needed actions based on students’ grade levels and month and week.

Our content is developed by experienced educators and college readiness specialists who have spent their careers helping high school students and families successfully prepare for college.

There is no cost, no obligation, and no strings attached. We also respect your privacy. Your email address will never be sold or shared without your permission.

Direct to U Plus as low as $6/month or $60/year

For just $6 per month or $60 per year, Direct to U PLUS takes your family beyond the FREE subscription by providing personalized, grade-level guidance designed to help students and families make informed college and career decisions throughout high school.

When you enroll, you simply select your student’s graduating class (for example, Class of 2030). From that point forward, every resource is customized to what students and families should know right now, based on their current grade level. No more wondering what comes next or worrying about missing an important deadline.

Each week, you’ll receive 2–3 exclusive pieces of content, including short guides, videos, checklists, templates, and carefully selected resources focused on college readiness, admissions, financial aid, scholarships, applications, and enrollment. Everything is designed to be practical, easy to understand, and completed on your own schedule—whether you have five minutes or an hour.
